ABOUT CAPITOL ACCOUNTABILITY PROJECT
Here at Capitol Accountability Project, we see the value in our community. We are a catalyst for positive change, and since our beginnings in 2019, we’ve been driven by the same ideas we initially founded our Non-Profit Organization upon: support, empowerment and progress.
Dealing with the challenges of today requires problem-solvers who bring different perspectives and are willing to take risks. C.A.P. emerged out of the grassroots in a pursuit to inspire and support the community, and a desire for actions to speak louder than words. We promote impactful solutions to some of the most critical issues we face through the power of civic engagement.
Educate, Advocate, Train. These three values have stood at the center of the Capitol Accountability Project mission since our founding in 2000. We wholeheartedly commit to the work we do with passion and dedication, transparently sharing it with the American Freedmen community and inviting others to take part. On top of this, we challenge ourselves to think creatively, applying an innovative approach to all that we do. This mission drives the continued success of Capitol Accountability Project.
Capitol Accountibility Project upholds many core values, one of them being the fight for reparative justice for American Freedmen. We need to live in a society where people do not merely support progressive change, but fight for it.
