About Mr. Jericks:

Mr. Thomas Juricks was a husband, the father of six wonderful children and an American Freedmen.  He was lynched by an angry white mob in Prince George's County Maryland on October 12, 1869.  His is the oldest documented case of racial terror lynching in our county to date.  No one was ever held accountable for his murder.

May you never be forgotten.
