Sensor specifications can influence the amount of detail and overall imaging performance, but I wouldn't judge a device based on one number alone. Lens quality, resolution, processing, display, and software all contribute to what I actually see through the device.

Sensor size can definitely affect thermal image quality, especially when you're looking for finer details or better performance at longer distances. Still, I agree that it shouldn't be the only factor. Lens quality, resolution, image processing, and display all matter too.
